POSTURAL CORRECTIVE EXERCISE PROGRAMMING
From everyday life activities to running pain-free to improving your golf swing. My goal for all my patients is to promote independence. Making sure to give you the tools to manage and improve your health on your own, and only come in when necessary.

STRENGTH AND CONDITION PROGRAMMING
Strength and conditioning usually come after the postural correction. As the body is biomechanical, how efficiently you move, meaning how much force you can produce. Is based on how biomechanical efficient you are in your joints.
Strength and conditioning programs after postural corrections are the best way to make sure you achieve your fitness goals and improve your overall health for longevity. Programs as individualized with coaching, ensuring that you are performing each exercise safely and effectively.

SPORT PHYSIOTHERAPY
A sports physiotherapist has extensive experience treating athletes both on and off the field for sport-related injuries and performance. Sports physiotherapists are experts in managing return to sport post-injury, providing guidance on training and exercise plans, load management, and sports taping.

IMS / DRY NEEDLING
Intramuscular stimulation (IMS) is a technique used to release or lengthen muscles that may be causing chronic musculoskeletal or neuropathic pain. Very fine needles (the same ones used in acupuncture) are inserted directly into the affected muscle, in order to stimulate healing. This is also often referred to, or known as, “dry needling.”

MANUAL THERAPY
For those adverse to needles, James has extensive manual therapy skills from years of practice in athletics, to help facilitate movement and decrease pain to enable and supplement an individualized exercise program. Disclosure: this will not be a pain-free process.

About Me
James earned his Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Toronto, where he worked alongside varsity teams including Women’s Volleyball, Women’s Lacrosse, and Men’s Football. He later completed his Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne, gaining hands-on experience across hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and long-term care facilities.
Driven by a lifelong curiosity about movement, James explores how people move, adapt, and perform across different disciplines—from golf and boxing to dance. This broad lens shapes his perspective on the body as an integrated system rather than a collection of parts..
His approach to therapy is holistic, considering how the body, mind, and environment interact to influence pain, performance, and longevity. James believes that meaningful, lasting change comes from understanding these relationships deeply.
Drawing inspiration from frameworks such as ConnectTherapy® (based on the Integrative Systems Model) and the Postural Restoration Institute®, James has developed his own style of physiotherapy focused on helping people move with ease, restore balance, and live the life they want—fully and freely.

Appointment Durations
Initial Physiotherapy Assessments are 60 minutes or 45 minutes in duration.
I recommend a 60-minute first appointment to allow time to collect all of your information and complete a detailed whole-body assessment to fully determine all components of your injury and what is required to help you achieve your goals.
However, 30-minute Initial Physiotherapy Assessments can be provided upon request. These shorter initial assessment sessions are reserved generally for simple or more acute injuries. However, if you choose a shorter Initial Physiotherapy Assessment session it may require two shorter sessions to be able to fully complete your assessment and have the time to cover the same information as one longer initial session.
It is also recommended to schedule a follow-up visit after your initial assessment in the event one is needed to continue your assessment and treatment.
What to Expect & Bring
In order to be prepared for your initial physiotherapy assessment, please bring along:
